Laila Al-Mansouri
Director of Public Relations and Partnerships
Laila Al-Mansouri is a recognized expert in communications, strategic PR, and corporate partnerships. Born and raised in Dubai, she earned her degree from New York University Abu Dhabi, specializing in marketing and international relations.
Her career began at a leading public relations agency, where she worked with international brands across luxury, technology, and healthcare sectors. She later led the communications department of a major holding company, coordinating projects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
At the Association, Laila is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, organizing high-profile events, and enhancing international visibility. Thanks to her efforts, the Association actively collaborates with global corporations, government entities, and industry leaders.

Rafael Moretti
Project Coordinator
Rafael Moretti is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management, business analytics, and innovation. Originally from Italy, he earned a degree in international management from Bocconi University in Milan.
His career began in the consulting sector, where he developed growth strategies for major companies. Later, he joined the startup ecosystem, successfully coordinating international projects in technology, retail, and creative industries.
At the Association, Rafael is responsible for managing key initiatives, developing new projects, and coordinating cross-industry programs. His ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach helps the Association execute large-scale and impactful initiatives.

Alexander Van der Meer
President of the Association
Alexander Van der Meer is an experienced leader, strategist, and visionary who leads our Association. Originally from the Netherlands, he graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a specialization in international economics and business management.
Throughout his career, Alexander has held key positions in major international corporations, including serving as the CEO of a strategic business development consulting firm in London and Vice President for Global Development at one of Europe’s leading investment groups.
After relocating to Dubai, he focused on uniting talented professionals from various industries, creating a platform for innovation, partnerships, and growth. Under his leadership, the Association has become a premier hub for successful entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, and representatives of the creative industries.
Throughout his career, Alexander has held key positions in major international corporations, including serving as the CEO of a strategic business development consulting firm in London and Vice President for Global Development at one of Europe’s leading investment groups.
